When I lived in Ukraine, I worked with people all the time and helped serve my community. Now, that I have immigrated to the United States, I find that my personal experience as a refugee has given me a profound understanding of the challenges faced by all refugees, regardless of nationalities, seeking stability in a foreign land.

My unwavering commitment to helping others like myself brought me the opportunity to volunteer with Bach Viet and open a pathway for me to also achieve self-sufficiency. This amazing organisation has provided me with a way to ensure the refugees in the community members receive comprehensive support.
