HISTORY
Bach Viet Association, Inc., a mutual assistance association located in Sacramento, California was established in 1982.
Since its inception, Bach Viet has actively served the community and has worked with many Federal, State and local agencies to assist refugees in their pursuit of economic independence.
Bach Viet has received a high reputation for great performances in the employment services area and is well known to the entire refugee population in Sacramento.

To promote mutual assistance among refugees through the enhancement of career development, employment services and social welfare.
To preserve and enrich cultural heritage among refugees outside their homeland.
To secure and protect the rights of refugees in their own country, within the United States and abroad.
To support the struggle for human rights of refugees in their own country, within the United States and abroad.
To foster mutual understanding and cooperation among refugees, minority communities and American society.
